Tamara Shiloh
Tamara Shiloh is a passionate educator, historian, and advocate for culturally responsive education. With over 20 years of experience in education and community development, she has dedicated her career to bridging educational gaps for marginalized communities. As an author of Black History books for children, a columnist for a local newspaper, and the host of the Once Upon A Time in Black History podcast, Tamara is committed to ensuring that students receive a well-rounded and historically accurate education. Her leadership at Nia Academy reflects her vision of creating a nurturing learning environment where students not only excel academically but also embrace their cultural identities and develop into engaged community leaders.
